Abstract :
Power loading is an effective way to improve the system capacity of digital channelized satellite communication (SATCOM) systems, especially for the control of nonlinearities effects of onboard high power amplifier (HPA). However, traditional exhaustive searching and previous multilevel optimization (MO) algorithm will consume much computational time, which are not suitable for in-orbit realtime configuration in special case of multi-link in one terminal (MLOT). In this paper, by bisection and gradient searching methods, an enhanced multilevel optimization (EMO) algorithm is firstly proposed to maximize the system capacity in the case of single-link in one terminal (SLOT). Then the simulated annealing method is involved to solve the complex problem of MLOT. The computational complexity of the proposals are further analyzed in theory. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to verify the improved computational efficiency of the proposals in both cases of SLOT and MLOT.
