Abstract :
In this paper a strategy for increasing data persistency in wireless sensor networks has been proposed. Due to usually hazardous environment and limited resources, sensors in the network are vulnerable. Therefore the best approach to increase data persistency is distributed storage. We propose an Efficient Distributed Storage based on LT codes (EDSLT) strategy which implements directional random walk mechanism for packet transmission, the ID-based estimation method is used to estimate the global information at the information estimation phase, the process of XORing packets is reasonable so that the distribution of code degree tends to the ideal distribution. As presented by the analyses and simulations, random walk steps is greatly reduced compared with a representative LTCDS strategy, while improving the decoding performance.
