Abstract :
Depolarisation thermocurrent (DTC) measurements on hydrated compressed pellets of cellulose powder in the temperature range 77–300 K show a broad peak at about 135 K and a complex band at higher temperatures. We report in this paper on the behaviour of the high-temperature DTC band. In an attempt to clarify the origin of the individual contributions to this band its properties are studied extensively using several experimental techniques offered by the DTC method.
