Abstract
We propose a simple technique to generate free-spectral range and wavelength tunable broadband combs by gain-switching and simultaneously injection locking two Fabry-Pérot longitudinal modes. The highly coherent comb source exhibits a 6dB bandwidth of 325GHz and wavelength tunability over 40nm.
