Abstract :
Modern automatic motion control systems of marine vehicles operate in different dynamic modes defined by the specific assignment of command signals and external disturbances acting on the control object. For each of these modes in the systems´ design stage a set of requirements, conditions and restrictions which must be strictly fulfilled is formed. This article primarily discusses questions related to the mathematical formalization of marine vessels motion as a control objects.
