Abstract
Most of the scheduling algorithms were concentrated on scheduling of the packets. In Dynamic Multilevel Priority (DMP) packet delivery scheme the packets were scheduled in three priority queue pr1, pr2, pr3 respectively. In this scheme, pr1 is scheduled in FCFS, pr2 is scheduled as non-real time with remote data and pr3 is also non-real time with local data. Here starvation will occur in pr1 because of the FCFS queue. The remedy for this problem is done by proposing a novel Enhanced DMP Based Scheduling Algorithm (EDMP). Thus the QoS and packet guarantee ratio gets improved.
