Abstract
As the world of internet is grooming, e-learning is becoming more and more popular. E-learning is one of the best way of imparting knowledge and education in modern era. Many universities and colleges are providing e-learning courses. They upload their faculties´ lectures videos over their websites and make freely available to users. Sites like videolectures.com and many others also provide videos on different subjects and topics. But these sites do not provide user friendly way of navigating these videos. Users have to simply search throughout the video for the portion of their interest. In this paper we are providing an efficient and more user friendly way of navigating the video. This paper discusses the technique of dividing video into frames and tagging important frames. The experiment is conducted on 12 videos from freevideolectures.com. Recall and precision are calculated to check the accuracy of the system and find the results satisfactory. In this way, users can have more control over the video than they usually have.
