Abstract :
Error correcting codes are an unavoidable element in digital communication. Turbo codes are a class of error correcting codes that have been considered for energy constrained wireless communication applications. This paper mainly focuses on the analysis of an efficient turbo encoder in digital communication. The implementation of turbo encoder is performed by using both flip flop and finite state machine methods. The experimental results show that flip flop method is better than existing methods in encoding data using turbo encoder.
