Abstract
Recently, a brand new instructional system named the electronic dual-board (EDB) was created and put into practice in China. To find out the opportunities and challenges of the system in the instruction, the research was conducted in a primary school and a university from March to June in 2013. The results indicated that most of the participants´ attitude towards the EDB was positive. Especially, the primary school students preferred to attend the class with the EDB. However, there were some technical problems in the EDB. Moreover, using the EDB, the teacher should face up to some challenges, such as how to create the new resource, how to adjust the teaching plan and how to carry out teaching design. In order to make full use of the EDB, the suggestion of using the system was collected from both the students and teachers in the end.
