  • Abstract
    An Ultra Wide Band response covering entire frequency range of 4 GHz to 10 GHz is found by stacking two cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRA) having different permittivity and radius of 0.32 cm and 0.64 cm respectively. DRAs are placed on microstrip feed line and partial ground structure is also used to enhance the bandwidth. Band notching in some bands, specifically chosen to avoid interference is achieved by using metamaterial structures on both side of the feed line. Reconfigurability of these bands is designed to decrease the cost of using multiple antennas transmitting in different frequency ranges.
