Exploring online social networks for influence maximization

Online Social networking sites are now the main portal for content sharing and have consistently generated huge user traffic in the past few years. This phenomenon has thus triggered various research efforts in studying the nature of these networks. The current research challenge is how online networking sites can be exploited to maximizes their usefulness to humanity. However, the underlying structure of these networks are still not thoroughly studied and leveraged on other areas of research.
