Abstract :
In this article, we have proposed a novel dispersion decreasing fiber (DDF) which is incorporated with saturable nonlinearity, for the analysis of supercontinuum generation. The proposed DDF finds boundless ways for achieving desired bandwidth profile by exploiting suitable value of saturable nonlinearity with the change in power. This approach is relatively a simple way to achieve desired bandwidth profile rather than using different fiber for specific requirement.
