Abstract
Equivalent source match is a quantity of a 3-port device, which is needed for power sensor calibration. The Juroshek method, a direct 3-port method and an indirect 2-port method for measuring equivalent source match are tested with different definitions of the calibration standards being used. Using standard definitions that include connector effects for measuring a 2.4mm splitter yields a difference of maximally |ΔΓG| <; 0.005 between methods. The analysis of uncertainties shows large differences between methods. E.g. the 3-port method with connector effects yields an uncertainty of U95 = 0.007 and the Juroshek method with calibration kit definition from the manufacturer yields U95 = 0.045.
