Abstract :
A novel wideband planar near-field antenna measurement technique using an analog fiber-optic link with two reference channels is presented as a superior alternative to other planar near-field measurement techniques based on remote mixing scheme. The usage of the analog optical link for delivering measurement microwave signal to the scanning probe results in significant reduction of system phase errors and improving of system dynamic range.
