Abstract :
A single-transceiver photonics-aided S- and X-band radar system is presented. Its mutual coherence between the frequency bands enables data fusion techniques in order to increase range resolution and eliminate ambiguities. Tests in an operative aerial scenario demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed radar system and validate the proposed processing.
