Abstract
Model Reconciliation involves mapping the existing solution to another in order to optimize metadata interoperability - in other words, to reconcile to other models. This approach is comprised of three metadata interoperability techniques: Language Mapping, Crosswalk, and Instance Transformation. In this paper, a prototype of the three metadata interoperability techniques are implemented in object-oriented environment. The output´s interoperability is checked to determine whether the goal is achieved by referring to the scenarios that can be applied to interoperable metadata. Data loss on the Crosswalk process is also evaluated. Finally, a recommendation for future development is laid out.
