Abstract
In this paper, control of an anode purge process for a Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) is addressed. Water management in a PEMFC is of the utmost importance as the occurrence of liquid water in the anode chamber has a strong negative impact. However, as a power converters, keeping a high energy efficiency is crucial. To reach this goal, an analytical optimization will be performed.
