Abstract :
This paper presents a disturbance observer-based current control strategy of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) in applications for EVs´ traction drives. Inverse models and low- pass filters which are well-known in field of motion control are utilized in this scheme of current control to deal with the parameter uncertainty of motors. The high performance of the proposed current controller is demonstrated in simulation using a 80 kW EV motor drive.
