Abstract :
A compensation-based user scheduling (CBUS) for multiuser multi-input multi-output (MU-MIMO) systems with delayed feedback channel state information (CSI) is proposed. To cope with the great performance degradation caused by imperfect CSI in the selective transmission/ selective combining (ST/SC) transceiving systems, we propose the CBUS algorithm, which can effectively alleviate the effect of time delay. Different with the original proportional fair scheduling (PFS) method, our scheme can combine the channel fading matrix with correlation coefficient of perfect CSI and delayed one to select the user with best condition channel. In addition, we give a simplified theoretical derivation for our scheduling scheme to take a further insight into the advantage of our scheme. Computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better BER performance than that of the original scheduling method with delayed CSI.
