Abstract :
In this paper, we utilize the knowledge of frame type and structure combined with multimode precoded MIMO transmission scheme for video stream, in order to achieve a better tradeoff of physicl layer performance (eg., SER) and the transmission delay via a proposed two-stage selection algorithms. The algorithm adaptively selects the optimal transmission mode (DIV or MUX) and the corresponding precoder according to the channel state information (CSI) and a simplified queue state information (QSI) which refers to the information of frame type and structure. The proposed algorithm doesn´t cause the additional cost and complexity and provides a potentional performance on the transmission delay, which is illustrated by numerical simulations.
