Abstract :
In this paper the emulation of the physical layer of a wireless communication system using discrete Fourier transform spreading and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with space-frequency coding over a MIMO array was developed, based on a software defined radio platform, which in turn uses a universal software radio peripheral (USRP) board. The USRP contains a hardware implementation of the baseband processing unit (A/D and D/A converters) and radio frequency interface.
