Abstract :
We demonstrate experimentally, the use of an I/Q Volterra series-based algorithm to successfully compensate for nonlinearities in a wideband mm-wave RoF system having I/Q imbalance. The capacity of the system was doubled from 14.8 Gb/s to 29.6 Gb/s, while fulfilling FEC performance requirements.
