Abstract :
Cloud computing is rapidly penetrating academia, industry, and government sectors around the globe. Malaysia is one country that´s rapidly adopting cloud computing, and its government is aiming to lead cloud adoption in the region. This article presents current trends in the adoption of cloud computing technology in Malaysia. It also discusses future cloud adoption opportunities, and the open challenges that ground future research. It briefly discusses and refers to beneficial documents about cloud adoption efforts in Malaysia as a guide to other governments.
