Abstract :
In this paper we introduce frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) into Diagonal Bell Laboratories Layered Space-Time (D-BLAST) Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) architecture. We evaluate the performance of the system containing a single interference affecting the system with various probabilities and power. An LDPC code and BPSK modulation is used as a test case to obtain message bit error rate and is compared to non-frequency hopping D-BLAST MIMO architecture.
