Methodology for Inventory Systems design in mobile telecom business

There is strongly increasing focus on Inventory of Operational Support Systems (OSS) in today´s mobile telecom business, where mobile operators must address fast evolving requirements, technologies and standards. The main inventory dimensions to be covered in a mobile network could be split into three, which serves as a methodical approach to define the methodology for Inventory System solutions design in this paper: - Network and technology dimension - Functional dimension - Data dimension Implementation of the new common Network Inventory system for Telenor Serbia and Telenor Montenegro Networks, together with the redesign of business processes [1][2][3], are expected to enable the effective and efficient delivery of services and support of changing business needs.
