Abstract :
In this paper we have approached the competitive intelligence within a management perspective. We have studied the case of a public Algerian company “Mobilis”, in order to highlight its assets and constraints to the implementation of competitive intelligence´s practices. Actually, our national companies performing in both the public and the private sectors must regenerate their strategic management. Thus, requires, in the era of the information based business, a permanent appropriation and exploitation of pertinent information with a view to create competitive advantages. However, that cannot be reached without setting and exploiting a coherent process, affecting the competitiveness of the whole company, which we qualify as the competitive intelligence.
