Abstract
The tire pressure measurement sensor (TPMS) has used to send a warning signal to drivers on driving, when the measured tire´s pressure value is lower than the threshold value. In some nations, the transport division has imposed the equipment of TPMS for the maker of vehicle in order to reduce the accident and enhancing the traffic safety. In the conventional using method of TPMS, it has the only simple warning function. The driver stops the vehicle on the shoulder of a road when the driver recognizes the warning signal from TPMS systems. Then the driver checks the tire state with own eyes. Finally, if the driver finds out that the tire has the problem, then the driver changes the tire or adds the tire pressure. On the other hands, the slip ratio control and wheel speed control has used to reduce the slip amount along the driving direction which is related to the braking distance and to enhance the steerability along the lateral direction which is related to the avoidance capability of the obstacle on the braking. In comparison with the afore-mentioned simple warning function of TPMS system, in this paper we propose the method of more precise slip ratio and wheel speed control of the brake systems by using TPMS signals.
