Abstract
The Malaysian Government initiated the Digital Malaysia (DM) program to advance the country towards a developed digital economy by 2020. Electronic Book or e-Book has been used to facilitate the learning process in formal education since 2009 in Malaysia. The content and media used in e-Book has transformed traditional classroom to a digital learning environment. This study aims to investigate the quality of e-Book applications in facilitating classroom learning based on the ISO 25010 standard. A survey of 37 primary schools in the district of Kemaman in Terengganu was carried out involving 200 teachers. Results indicate that e-Book applications are perceived as usable, reliable, functional, and efficient in supporting the learning process. There is room for improvements through increasing the number functions provided and upgrading the hardware specifications. Results also suggested that e-Book is in the right direction in meeting its goal and objectives.
