Energy aware route selection algorithm for cross layer design over MANET

The MANET contains collection of nodes that intercommunicate with one another by applying multi-hop routes. In routing techniques, various types of problem are addressed, such as establishing, observing and preserving the routes in dynamic network topologies. Energy is challenging issue for mobile ad-hoc network and also be the essential part in mobile ad-hoc network research. When node has less energy, it is more challenging and difficult to search multi-hop path between transmitting node to receiving node. This paper proposes an energy-aware algorithm for node selection on the basis of different parameters.
