Abstract
Advances in graphic processor technology have brought massively parallel computing power to the PC world. In addition to performing graphic operations, many new graphic processors can execute general purpose computer codes. They can thus dramatically accelerate time-domain electromagnetic field computations that are inherently parallel in nature. This paper reports our first implementation of the two-dimensional shunt-node TLM method on graphic processors using the newly released C++ AMP software paradigm.
