Abstract
Open-end and short-end helical antennas for coupled-resonant wireless power transfer is discussed from a viewpoint of undesired emission and biological effect. At first, difference between open-end and short-end antennas is discussed by using equivalent circuit. Next, near electric and magnetic and field is discussed to comply with ICNIRP guide line. After that, far-field radiation is discussed. Finally, effect of human body on transmission characteristics is demonstrated.
