Abstract
The contour integral equation and the vector fitting based adaptive frequency sampling are combined for fast wide-band analysis of a power ground plane pair. It is found that model complexity of vector fitting increases greatly when a wide band response is fitted, and the selection of optimal model parameters thus takes long time. Instead of performing vector fitting on the entire frequency band, this work first divides it into a few narrower consecutive bands, and then fits them separately to reduce the time spent in selecting optimal model parameters. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the advantage of the proposed method.
