Abstract
This paper investigates an intelligent search technique for the design of a robust H∞ controller for a class of uncertain networked control systems (NCS) with random packet losses, occurring simultaneously between the sensor and controller and between the controller and actuator. The parameter uncertainties are norm bounded and packet dropout are assumed to obey Bernoulli random binary distribution. In the presence of packet losses, an observer-based feedback controller is designed to robustly stabilize the system in the mean-square sense and an evolutionary programming techniques is applied to determine the parameter of the controller while considering the H∞ performance condition. The simulation examples indicate the good performance of the developed controller.
