Abstract :
To improve the stability of power system with a big portion of inverter based Distributed Generators (DG), Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) concept used to mimic Synchronous Machine(SM) characteristics through converter control algorithm is proposed, on the other hand, power oscillation and other issues after a change and disturbance similar to synchronous machine might happen. For this purpose, an improved VSG method is raised. By adding a differential term of the voltage angle frequency, the dynamic characteristics of the system can be improved, and the range of the virtual inertia can be increased. Simulation and experience is achieved to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
