Abstract :
This paper presents the tracking of the usability test "Thinking Aloud" of a SCADA system for monitoring and operating a wind rotor (BEPA), which is coupled to an experimental prototype rotor. Consequently, it was necessary to define the user profile of the candidates to the test, and the creation of 9 usability tasks. While performing the tests, 3 potential users were involved and 18 usability problems were found that were treated by priority, therefore, it was achieved to have a first impression of the usability of BEPA against the user perception concerning their mental model, offering positive results for continuous improvement of the system.
