Abstract :
In this paper, a design of a compact projector and hydrophone array is proposed. The FEM is utilized to simulate the performance of the projector and hydrophone, and several design parameters are optimized to achieve higher and flatter sensitivity/TVR response over the working frequency band. The measured performance of the manufactured compact array verifies the validity of the design.
