Abstract
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is used for the high-resolution 2-dimensional and also 3-dimensional observation by the microwave radar. It can realize the large aperture antenna virtually by using the platform movement. Millimeter-wave (MW) radar becomes popular to us. The MW-wave radar system is small and light weight, and various millimeter wave applications are expected. In this report, we carried out experiments for the target detection and imaging in outdoor environment. Especially, we show validity of the SAR imaging by demonstrating the range profile and the SAR image.
