Abstract :
We proposed a low profile surface wave antenna with directional beam using micro strip element. Proposed antenna can design at the desired resonance frequency by changing microstrip length L and width W. In addition, we proposed process of design the desired resonance frequency by using some formulas. Also, we designed the antenna having the resonance frequency of 10 GHz by using proposed method. Furthermore, we made simulation and measurement in S11 characteristics and radiation pattern. As a result, we can get bi-directional beam in proposed antenna. Therefore, the antenna that used proposed method can design the desired resonance frequency.
