Abstract
In order to evaluate specific absorption rate (SAR) of human exposure in vicinity of wireless power transfer (WPT) devices operating in intermediate-frequency band, we have developed a human-equivalent dielectric liquid phantom using a diluted solution with the 0.04 mol/l concentrations. The liquid phantom has the same conductivity and indicates similar EM characteristics with two-third of the muscle. We demonstrate that conductivity of the solution is a main factor of determining EM characteristics in the WPT frequency band. Finally, we perform numerical investigation on EM characteristics derived from using a simple-shape phantom.
