Abstract :
This work presents a dual-band high-gain metamaterial radome which can increase antenna gain. This radome operates at the WiMAX (3.5GHz) band and the WiFi (5.8GHz) band. The refractive index of this radome is designed to near zero. The radiation beamwidth of antenna becomes small and the antenna gain is increasing. The size of this radome is 90 mm × 90 mm. This radome improves antenna gain 2.6 dB and 5.7 dB at 3.57GHz and 5.95 GHz respectively.
