  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel circular polarized open-loop square ring antenna using stacked structure is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of two open-loop square ring resonators and a T-shaped feed structure. The circular polarization (CP) can be achieved by two square ring antennas with different gap positions. The antenna generates CP radiation with overall size 60 × 60 × 4.8 mm3. The fabricated antenna shows a reflection coefficient bandwidth of 170 MHz (2.826-2.996 GHz) with 45 MHz (2.945-2.99 GHz) 3 dB axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth.
