Abstract :
The consistency of batch product directly determines the rate of qualified products in the manufacturing process, which thereby affects the stability and reliability during the product use. In this paper, the optimization accuracy of the traditional robust tolerance design (RTD) method is improved. Then the tolerance optimal allocation for the balanced-force typed electromagnetic relay (EMR) is implemented with the improved RTD method as an example. Finally, the output distribution characteristics of batch product corresponding to the tolerance allocation scheme before and after the optimization are simulated by the Monte Carlo method, so as to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the improved RTD method in the consistency optimal design.
