Abstract
The integration of product platform development and supply chain configuration decisions is a problem that must be resolved in order to achieve mass customization. This paper extends a mathematical model formulated for this problem and introduces quality as a third dimension in addition to cost and revenue. A multi-objective simulated annealing algorithm (AMOSA) is proposed and implemented to solve the model in a way that provides the decision maker with a wider view of alternatives rather than a single solution.
