Abstract
Protecting enterprise information from employee´s misappropriation is a crucial but significantly challenging task for many companies in China. Chinese labor laws provide a set of protection for enterprises together with responsibilities regarding employee´s misappropriation. This article suggests that those legal instruments would not be effective unless the appropriate prevention mechanisms have been implemented, and therefore, it is rather crucial to introduce a set of “good practice” recommendations as to improve information management in workplace.
