Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of market uncertainty on e-connection and process coordination with suppliers and the operational performance. A Structure Equation Model containing two intermediary variables is established. Through an empirical survey of 725 samples in an international study, the research findings show that: (1) market uncertainty has a negative impact on operational performance and has a positive impact on e-connection and process coordination with suppliers. (2) process coordination with suppliers has a positive impact on operational performance. (3) e-connection with suppliers has a positive impact on operational performance. (4) each of e-connection and process coordination with suppliers partly mediate the effect of market uncertainty on operational performance.
