Abstract
An X-band dual channel microwave phase detector is measured at 10GHz with -180° to +180° phase difference in this paper. Moreover, the phase sensitivity and response time of this phase detector are investigated. This phase detector is fabricated based on GaAs MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuit) technique. Experiment results indicate that the measured results of phase detection are in good agreement with the calculated results. The phase sensitivity can reach to 14μV/°@10GHz and the response time is about 356μs.
