Abstract
Electro-thermal modeling based on the constant voltage source is proposed. It is suitable for the read-out IC (ROIC) having a gain control amplifier that its output is adjusted by external bias voltage. This modeling is possible to simulate a characteristic both the microbolometer array (MBA) and the ROIC at a time. To confirm the proposed modeling, three type of the microbolometer are fabricated and measured using a simple measurement technique which only relies on a single long bias pulse. The simulation results show a maximum discrepancy of 2.6 % with respect to the experimental results.
