Abstract
Researched on the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for the electric-drive tracked bulldozer, an outer voltage-loop flux-weakening control strategy based on over-modulation, which is an organic combination of the traditional outer voltage-loop flux-weakening control and over-modulation algorithm, is presented in this paper. The simulation and the experiment of the control strategy are carried out. Compared to the general flux-weakening control strategy, this strategy can make the DC bus voltage be fully utilized, so that the motor can be maintained at the maximum linear modulation under the steady-state condition. The responsiveness of the motor is realized to improve effectively, and the efficiency of the motor control system is maintained in a high range. The feasibility of the strategy is verified through comparison. This paper provides the basis for the study of the high-performance control of the PMSM for the electric-drive tracked bulldozer.
