Abstract :
In this paper, constant current capacitor charging power supply (CCPS) based on LCL-T resonant converter with clamp diodes is investigated. The CCPS proposed in this paper can realize constant current charging without any feedback control and be easily designed. The principle of LCL-T resonant converter having constant characteristics under certain condition is presented. Charging process and performance of the CCPS are analyzed. Based on the theoretical analysis, the parameter design method of the CCPS is proposed. In the end, simulation verifications and experimental results are carried out to prove the validity of theoretical analysis.
