Abstract
In this paper, we present closed form analytical solution for the outage probability in a two-hop relay assisted cellular network at the cell edge. Amplify-forward relaying strategy is considered. Combined effect of path-loss, shadowing, fast fading and multi-cell interference are considered for the analysis. The model would be useful for analyzing the coverage and capacity of relay based cellular system.
